Questions, answered.
How does this work?
You choose or write a question, name the person you want to hear from, and share a private link using your phone or computer. They open it, record an answer in the browser, and send it back. Nothing to install.
Who can hear the answers?
Your archive is private to your signed-in or device-local session. If you choose to share one answer, anyone with that specific random link can open it. Shared answers are not listed or searchable on ASK / ARCHIVE.
Is this end-to-end encrypted?
No. Original recordings are stored in private object storage. Playback uses temporary signed audio links, but the service can technically access files on its own infrastructure to operate the product.
Can I delete a recording?
Yes. Deleting an answer from your archive removes its stored recording. Event hosts can also remove individual guest answers. To remove everything at once, use Delete account at the bottom of your archive.
Can I download a recording?
Yes. Individual answers can be downloaded from a person’s archive. Event hosts can download a group archive as a ZIP organized by question.
Do I need an account?
Answering never requires an account. A one-to-one ask, or starting a group archive, can both begin with a device-local session. Adding an email links that work to an account so it can follow you across devices.
What if I switch devices or browsers?
A device-local session only exists on that device and browser. If you switch before adding an email — say you started recording on your phone and want to finish or download from a computer — the computer starts empty; it has no way to know about your phone's archive yet. Adding an email folds in whatever's local to the device you complete sign-in on, so sign in from every device that has recordings you want to keep, not just the one that's easiest to type on.
What does it cost?
One-to-one questions are currently free. Group archives are paid because they're built to make it easy to collect and archive answers from a larger group, with the full price shown before you continue to checkout. There is no subscription.
What if the person I asked doesn't answer?
The question stays marked as waiting in your archive. You can share the link again or delete the question.
